This is an ASP component/dll which processes file uploads using HTML forms and a web browser. It can handle more than one file per form. Once uploaded the files can be saved to disk or to a database as a binary data stream. Files can also be exported into the csImageFile component for image processing. Form variables can be accessed using the comonent. An additional class containing HTTP functions has been included. These allow a script to send a file to a remote server as an HTTP post, and also to receive a file from a remote server as a download. A username and password can be sent if the remote server uses authentication. Form variables can be added for the upload as well as the download. Files can be uploaded from a binary variable or downloaded into a binary variable. There is a free trial available with full instructions.

This ActiveX / OCX control allows an end user to upload batches of files to a server by an HTTP post. The entire contents of a folder can be uploaded with a single click. Paths, destinations and form variables can be set by the developer or the end user. Files can be filtered by extension and / or size. Cute FTP Home is similar to a Web-browser in that you give Cute FTP a remote ?address? to connect to after which it creates a connection to that remote file transfer server located somewhere on the Internet.

ListenUp is a client/server solution for recording sound in a web browser, and uploading that sound to a web server using simple GUI. Web designers can choose sampling rates from 8000Hz to 44100Hz. Voice compression for bitrates can be as low as 5 kbps.

On the client side, a Java applet runs in a web browser and provides record and playback functionality. The Applet is developed in Java1.1.
