TGrab is a new type of "image grabber", a utility to take snapshots of either your full windows desktop screen or the active window. It can not only take screenshots in a manual mode (like most others), but also in a timer automated mode.

You can actually configure TGrab to take a picture at a preferred timer interval, either during a time limited session or until a quantity of images is reached (or both). If preferred, it can even run totally invisible and/or close itself when the task is completed.

TGrab runs in the background, while you are using the program from which you want to obtain pictures. At every snapshot command (wether invoked by the timer mode or manual) the active window (or full screen) is captured and saved to a disk file (in either a _·jpg or .bmp format), using a sequentially numbered filename (as in "MyFileName(##).bmp"). It can count up and down, is settable by second divisions from 3 seconds up to 45 days, and while its default window size is compact, it can be varied to whatever size you want (including borderless full screen) to allow you to see the count from across the room. Egg can display up to four timers at once, with each one having its own time, font, colour (foreground and background), time-up sound and text, repeat and direction settings. Twenty different timer configurations can be stored, and any can be shown in any timer space. Additionally common times are settable with only two clicks from a selection twelve customisable times. You can also pick a target time that Egg will countdown to. When a countdown has finished Egg can sound a beep or play a common Windows audio file (including MP3s) or it can run a file. The sounds can be set to repeat and both sounds and files can be selected randomly.

For the more demanding user, Egg offers several more advanced abilities, including a HTTP remote function, a dedicated chess timer mode, work/rest mode, variable transparency, screen blank, auto repeating timers, keyboard shortcuts, clock sync, time-up warning, flash screen alarm, auto hide buttons, customisable menus, and random alarm times. Break is designed to help you work more effectively by recording your work times and reminding you to take a break when you have been working for over a set time. Work can be divided into an unlimited number of different categories, with maximum work capping for each category, plus a recorded total for each of the last seven days, as well as an over all total, average, and percentage. This enables you to know how long you are on your computer, and what you do most while on it. In addition, Break totalises time at work, time on break and also time that the computer is unused.
