Emsa Time Synchronizer is a very simple but useful time synchronization utility. Users that like simplicity,
may indeed like this program. Just one click of a button - and your computer clock is automatically set,
using an atomic internet time server. The program runs as system tray icon. It can be configured to run
automatically at Windows startup, and continously re-synchronize your clock at an user-specified time interval. Freeware.

WebTime is a small utility program that will synchronize your PC's internal clock with one of the several atomic clocks maintained by the United States National Institute of Standards and Technology.

It is well-known that the Windows system clock is everything else than exact. With this little program it runs with the precision of an atomic clock. It synchronizes the system time with atomic clock driven NTP-servers in internet. This program can synchronize only files which were modified in the past few days. So, you can have two large folders on two computers, and you are using Flash Drive for copying files, for example. When you make some change in one of these folders you can call Sync Last Files for synchronization. It will copy only modified files to the Flash Drive. This greatly helps to synchronize big folders, which are normally can't be placed on the Flash Drive entirely.



Another great feature of this utility is capability of making incremental backups of files which are will be replaced. So you can return to any version of a file, if you incendentialy damaged last version of that file.

The NTP Time Server Monitor software allows the user to control and configure the NTP service for Windows with a userfriendly graphical user interface. The configuration file of the ntp service (ntp.conf) can be edited within this program. So it is no longer necessary to search for the right file in the possible locations within the Windows or NTP directory. If changes are made the program is asking if the service shall be restarted. - The NTP Time Server Monitor is able to read the system variables and association vars of the service and displays them in a textbox for analyzing. - Statistic: The generated loopstats files can be shown in a graphical component. The period of logging, the number of entries, the start and stop time and the minimum and maximum values of the offset and frequency are extracted and displayed.

TimeTools Freeware NTP Server Utility Software For Windows

This software utility is a freely downloadable Freeware application. It allows any Windows NT4/2000/XP/Vista PC to synchronise with an Internet or lacally based time reference using the Network Time Protocol. The utility can also act as a time server for other network clients.

The Network Time Protocol is a standard protocol for distributing accurate time around a computer network. It operates on a heirachical basis. The most accurate servers reside at the highest levels or stratums of the heirachy. Each level obtains time from the level above. In this manner time can be distributed to thousands of clients without swamping a single reference.

There are a number of accurate time references available accross the internet, many are maintained by government standards departments or universities. Most are freely accessible without any subscription fee.

The utility contains a list of the most popular time servers that reside on the internet. Any number of servers can be specified, which the utility will poll at specified intervals. The status of each server will be displayed along with reference details, round trip delays and time offset from the PC's system time.
