Once installed and running Operator has the ability to monitor each vehicle's registration plate which enters and exits the Parking Lot. Each license plate is saved to a database along with the date and time of capture, lane entry/exit details, and options to store images to disk.

Options are also available to set audible alert tones to inform Operator that the vehicles exiting the Parking Lot is not authorized to do it or can alert that a visitor is entering outside visiting dates.

Palm PR, Intertraff number plate recognition software, runs on any Microsoft Windows 2003 PDA.
Through a Compact Flash Camera, Palm PR analyses continuously the live picture looking for number plates. Once a vehicle plate is detected, the number is recognized using a series of complex template-matching algorithms and a full image picture of the vehicle and its plate patch is stored on the SD memory card. The reading results are also compared with the local database to find out if the vehicle is stolen, authorized, etc

We offer three layers of software products :


Level 1:
It consists in a Windows DLL that reads one image at a time. The image must be stored in memory RAM.

Level 2:
It consists in a Windows DLL that processes images captured from one or several cameras. Each passage of a vehicle is detected (or triggered by the calling program) and read. The SDK is independent to the image acquisition. The SDK automatically optimize the readings and the CPU usage. This is the best solution to catch a maximum of vehicles, with accuracy, in real time.

Level 3:
It consists in a Windows executable that additionally manages the image acquisition. It monitors the passage of vehicles on one or several lanes and outputs the readings to the main application. Alternatively, the main application can trigger the reading process for each camera.
