FolderBox is an extension for Windows Explorer. It displays additional folders in the lower part of Explorer, which enables you to display the contents of two or more folders at once! You can set-up and configure up to five FolderBoxes over the tab sheets of the FolderBox extension. Additional drives and folders are now just a mouse click away. Within a FolderBox you can copy and move, open and delete files, just as usual. FolderBox supports the typical drag & drop
handling of files. It is fully interoperable with "standard" Explorer or the desktop. You can even use FolderBox inside Internet Explorer!

The patterns used for overwriting are based on Peter Gutmann's paper "Secure Deletion of Data from Magnetic and Solid-State Memory" and they are selected to effectively remove the magnetic remnants from the hard disk.

Other methods include the one defined in the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual of the US Department of Defense and overwriting with pseudo-random data. You can also define your own overwriting methods.

Pathbuddy lets you define hotkeys for selecting folders in almost any program's Open & Save dialog (as well as Windows Explorer). Normally, when you open a Save dialog, you need to navigate to the folder that you want to use, which can often be annoying. Pathbuddy allows you to switch the dialog to any of your favorite folders instantly, by simply pressing the WinKey + a custom letter/number. So for example, if I wanted to save a file in C:Testfilesstuffetc - I could just press WinKey+W on my keyboard to switch the dialog to that folder. If you don't want to remember all your shortcuts, you can press WinKey+A at any time to bring up a list that allows you to simply select the folder.

The utility shows relative size of files and subdirectories in a directory on disk using columnar diagram. It allows you to quickly estimate how many space a file or subdirectory occupies on parent directory and how space is distributed among the directory's elements.
It also allows you to:

If it is the Boot Sector or the 1st FAT sector or both that is/are damaged, you can use RECOVER Fixed/Floppy Disk to recover your files. If ROOT FOLDER got damaged, if your disk analysis shows that first few sectors are good, you can use RECOVER Fixed/Floppy Disk.

Have you ever created a directory in a hurry to download photos from your suddenly full memory cards before a vacation? Have you found yourself wondering where did photos go months later? Was it "New Folder (3)" or "New Folder (48)"?

If so, here is a solution for you. New-ext extends Windows Explorer context menu with a number of commands that create a directory based on a template you configure.

The new folder name is based on the template string and current date. For example, I find it useful to name my photo folders like "27.jun.2006", so my format string is "dd.MMM.yyyy". See format string for more detailed explanation of available options.

You may find new-ext useful even if you do not need to use current date as a part of the new folder name. Just put you favorite default new folder name in single quotes as the format string.

Folder Marker is one of those little utilities that once you have it you wonder how you ever did with out it. Filelister has its goal to be a fast, efficient and reliable filelisting utility. The main function of the program is to create a text or html file from the contents of a disc or folder and display it according to the users' preferences. Any table may be sorted by columns in any order. Find-command locates the row of a table containing the regular occurrence of the search string. The table context menu provides quick access to useful commands (Open, Open with?, Open Folder, Copy/Move to?, etc.). The contents of any table may be exported to an .XML or a .TXT file. The program allows collecting data for all tables or for some tables depending upon the criteria set. The program determines the language of your installation of Windows and sets the working language in accordance with corresponding language file (if it exists) then sets it as default.
