Twintrix is heavily inspired by the Atari ST classic Klatrix, which is a mixture between Klax (Atari's attempt to steal the puzzle game crown from Tetris) and Tetris itself. It's also similar to countless other puzzle games like Columns.

The principle behind Twintrix is simple, connect rows of identical tiles to destroy them. The minimum length of a row is 3 tiles and they can be in any direction. Several rows can be destroyed at once, and when the remaining tiles fall down, new rows are often created causing further destruction and giving more and more score. The more tiles you destroy per move, the more you score.

Tiles fall down the screen in groups of 3, these can be shuffled into the required order then dropped onto the piles at the bottom of the screen. The next set of tiles is displayed; always a good idea to plan your next move before the current tiles fall home. The game is over if any tiles reach the top of the screen.

Twintrix is for 1 or 2 players. Players can play independently or Head-to-head. In head to head mode - the game is identical, except when you advance a level, you punish the other player with a fresh row of tiles that push their existing tiles up. Once a players game is over, the game continues for the other player so they can build on their score, but they can also start a single player game for themselves.

This version of Twintrix was developed in Play Basic (www.PlayBasic.com) and only requires DirectX 3.0 or above.

This is a remake of my old Amiga classic - Deluxe PacMan, voted in on the Top 100 amiga games of all time. In Deluxe PocMon you must navigate the mazes, eat the pills and gobble the power pills to eat those ghosts. Pick up bonuses along the way and try to find some of the games secrets.

Du bist ein Spielball mit dem Namen Balla, der ständig durch die Landschaft hüpft. Steuere den Ball so, daß alle Smileys aufgesammelt werden. Das bringt einen Menge Pluspunkte ein. Es gibt Smileys mit 5,10 oder sogar 50 Punkten. Leider haben die Smileys mit 50 Punkten die gemeine Eigenschaft, wie ein Ballon davon zu fliegen, sobald sie nicht mehr durch ein 10-Punkte-Smily festgehalten werden. Triffst du einen so genannten roten Slow-Point, so hast du eine Zeit lang einen ganz langsamen Ball. Denke daran, dass das auch mal von Vorteil sein kann. Dann sind da noch die neuen winzigen blinkenden Besoffenau-Punkte, die den Ball völlig besoffen machen. Fast nicht sichtbare Blitze lassen deinen Ball vorübergehend ins Gefängnis landen. Und die Totenköpfe lassen nun schon mal die eine oder andere Träne fallen, die den Ball mit in die Tiefe reißen können. Ganz wichtig ist auch das Lila Todes-Lava. Es bildet Wände, die du kaputt schießen kannst. Berührst du jedoch die Wand, so kannst du eine Menge Leben verlieren. Smileys mit den traurigen Gesichtern ziehen dir bei einer Berührung satte 100 Punkte ab. Zu Beginn hast du 10 Leben, was sich aber schnell ändern kann. Stößt du mit einem Totenkopf zusammen, so verlierst du sofort ein Leben. Solltest du irgendwo ein Herz sehen, sammle es schnell auf. Jedes Herz bringt dir ein Extraleben. Geister sollten so schnell wie möglich verschwinden, weil sie alle Feinde fast unsichtbar machen. Sollte ein Geist den Spielball treffen, so wird der Ball für einige Zeit ebenfalls fast unsichtbar. Außerdem verhält sich der Ball in dieser Zeit irgendwie verzaubert. Das Symbol EXIT bringt dich zum nächsten Level. Vergesse aber nicht, vorher alle netten Smileys aufzusammeln, um möglichst viele Punkte zu erhalten. Aber Achtung: Smileys können sich auch mal gerne hinter Bäumen verstecken. Du musst vorher ebenfalls alle Kristalle aus den Kristallblöcken ausschlagen sowie alle 500-er-Smileys nach Hause bringen. Nur dann geht´s ins nächste Level...
