Audio editing software

Postby sattire on Wed Feb 07, 2007 11:32 am

I need a real good piece of software, to trim the audio track of the recorded song and to mute some of the background music out of it, any suggestions?

Karaoke programs to remove vocals, etc

Postby admin on Wed Feb 07, 2007 3:04 pm

Hey Sattire,

I looked around the site a bit and I found a couple titles that seem to do what you need. Granted, I didn't follow the download links to confirm how well the run, but their descriptions seem to match. The only stipulation is that these programs will cost good money -- but they really look like good programs.

Here's a few matching titles:
  1. [padid=5809]PowerKaraoke[/padid]
  2. [padid=36159]DART Karaoke Studio CD+G[/padid]
  3. [padid=9841]Karaoke Sound Tools[/padid]

Here is the whole search that I executed... the most relevant results are above, but you may still find a program on the 3rd or 4th page. I didn't filter to look for freeware only programs.

For audio editing, prefer using FlexiMusic Wave Editor, an Mp3/ audio editor. select the portion of the Mp3 or song of your choice and with trim command, trim or cut the portion of song that is out of selection. This command is in use to keep a section of selected audio and discard the unselected portion. Regarding muting background music, can only minimize the background music, but cannot completely mute it off.
