The designer is database independent so that you can use the same tool for a variety of relational database management systems. With this tool you can reverse engineer databases, or create and design new databases totally from scratch; you can export designer structures to databases or even alter the structure of existing databases while maintaining your original data with tools that will help you to define the way that the data should be transformed and migrated from the old structure to the changed structure when applying these structural changes. You can also transform, migrate and merge data from multiple databases that can possibly be stored in different relational database management systems, to a target database, using an advanced visual mapping tool, and data brushing features like user expressions.
